To late to apologize «

And now a few words from the Angry Webmaster:

A simple video laying out the reasons the American Revolution started.

For those of you who have been force fed politically correct crap from left wing anti-American teachers, allow me to explain.

Back when America was part of the British Empire, the King, George III and his parliament started over taxing, over-regulating and suppressing the colonists. People were forced to house and feed troops, they would have their homes searched and property seized without warrants and generally were treated like dirt.

Through all that, most of the founders hoped to find a political solution, but with no representation, their calls for relief were generally ignored.

Finally they were pushed to far and the Declaration of Independence was written and signed by men who were ready to lose it all to gain their freedom.

So began the American revolution.

Personally I think the timing of this couldn’t be better. We now have a government that is ignoring the people, taking away our god given rights and confiscating our property for their benefit and the benefit of their cronies and supporters.

Some people believe that Obama and Congress might just try to pull some stunt that will cancel the mid-term elections or the presidential election in 2012. While I have no doubt that some of the more arrogant among those crooks would like to do just that, even the stupidest among them has a glimmer that such an attempt would trigger really bad things.

At best the military might decide that they have to intervene, (Not something they want to do), and at worst, flat out civil war. The latter would be very bad.

Nope, the best thing to do is what we Americans are doing now. Informing the petty tyrants in Washington that they have gone to far and then vote them out of office. Get involved. The best group out there at the moment is the Tea Party protesters. They are getting better and better organized and are scaring the political powers that be, on both sides of the aisle, that we are not a socialist nation.

We are free individuals, not a part of the Borg Collective. Are rights are not granted to us by a benevolent government run by the political elite. They are given to us by our creator, (Who/whatever that may be), and are not to be trifled with.

Recently, the Supreme Court ruled on corporations spending on political speech. Under some rather sharp questioning, it came out that as far as the government was concerned, they could pretty much ban any political speech they didn’t like no matter how it was generated. (Simplistic view from me)

The USSC decided in a 5–4 decision that this was wrong and blew a rather gaping hole in the McCain-Feingold incumbent protection act as the law passed back in 2002. So how did those Defenders of Freedom and Civil Rights, (Better known as the Democratic party), respond?

Yep, you guessed it. They screamed, ranted and raved about how this was wrong and that speech by corporations, (and anyone who didn’t toe the party line), had to be suppressed. A couple of morons even proposed amending the constitution to limit the right to free speech.

And they wonder why people are so angry they are almost at the point of taking up arms? Someone pass along this video to Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, Frank, Obama, and the rest of those incumbent, incompetent tyrants. Maybe they will finally get a clue and understand what their first duty is. *Hint* It isn’t looting the treasury, taxing people into oblivion and enslaving the people for your personal gain.

Keep their feet to the fire. Vote out these corrupt scum. Massachusetts, New Jersey and Virginia have made a good start. It’s now up to the rest of us.

That is all!
